Description:
You have three geysers and a scrap field. Each opponent has the
same.
There are no uncontrolled geysers in a full game. The terrain
is
really rough, but there are fairly direct routes to the enemy
bases,
which means if it wasn't for that HUGE scrap field, the central
part
of the map would probably be ignored. BZFRAC made by Derek Sorensen
(bz@bumblbee.demon.co.uk) was used to turn a bitmap image into
a
rough beginning, from which point I used Activision’s BZONE
to make
some ramps up onto the hills. After that, I used BZFRAC to reflect
the map. Because it's not diagonally symmetrical, you may want
to
play a 4-player game as 2 against 2. The map was originally multst70,
but I used a homemade visual basic text editor to change the bzn
file.
It works.
Installation Instructions
-------------------------
Before you begin exit Battlezone if it is running.
1) All the files in the zip file need to be unzipped into your
BattleZone\addon directory (folder).
2) Do not modify any of the files in any way! The map will lose
multiplayer compatability.
3) Run splitlvl.bat. This will add the line to your netmis.txt
Next time you play multiplayer, you should see "Split Level"
as
one of the available strategy maps. If you have problems installing
the map, make sure you have the following files in your
Battlezone\addon directory (folder): splitlvl.bzn splitlvl.trn
splitlvl.mat splitlvl.lgt splitlvl.hgt splitlvl.bmp splitlvl.txt
splitlvl.des splitlvl.mad If you have further problems, please
